YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE BMW CHARITY PRO-AM!

CELEBRATE THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL BY PARTICIPATING IN THE 10TH ANNUAL BMW CHARITY PRO-AM!

The 10th Annual BMW Pro-Am Golf Tournament will take place May 13 - 16.  When you volunteer your time, you not only get to be a part of the excitement, but you can also help support the Governor's School for the Arts Foundation.  In order to volunteer, you must pay $40 for your volunteer package which is a GREAT deal considering it includes the following:

There is a HUGE variety of options from which you can choose to lend your volunteer services.  Do you want to help keep score?  Assist in a Hospitality Box?  Do you want to control the crowds as a Marshal?  How about working for the Golf Channel or in the PGA Tour Media Center?  Or maybe you want to help get the professional golfers registered for the tournament?  The Transportation Committee is also a fun option where you get to drive sponsors and players in shiny new BMWs!  This offers only a sampling of the positions available, but we hope it's enough to tempt your taste buds!  Positions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're interested please sign up at your earliest convenience.  And when you do, be sure to select the GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS FOUNDATION as your Charity Affiliation!  We know you have a busy schedule and your time is valuable.  We appreciate your interest in helping support the Governor's School while enjoying this unique and exciting opportunity!

To sign up for your position, go to this website:
http://www.bmwusfactory.com/#/charity-golf/ and click in the bottom left corner where it says "2010 Volunteer Registration."  In accordance with the BMW Pro-Am Volunteer Guidelines, you must be able to volunteer a minimum of two days or two shifts, but remember, that will entitle you AND a friend or family member to credentials for the ENTIRE FOUR DAYS of the tournament!  The website will guide you through the registration process, including a detailed explanation of all the Committees and possible volunteer positions.  Volunteer positions are open to anyone and everyone 14 years of age and older (21 and up for the Transportation Committee), so please let us know if you are interested!  Please make sure to contact Elizabeth McMillian at the GSA Foundation prior to registering for any of the volunteer opportunities.
