Lucktenberg Family Music Fund is Established

The GSA Foundation recently received a generous donation from Karen and Ted Lucktenberg to establish the Lucktenberg Family Music Fund to benefit the music department at the school. The establishing gift was made in memory of Ted's mother, Dr. Marie Girard "Jerrie" Cadek Lucktenberg of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Lucktenberg family has quite a passion for the arts and specifically for the Governor's School, as Karen and Ted's daughter, Hope, is a current music student at the residential school, and Dr. Lucktenberg taught for many years in the school's summer programs before the residential high school was in place.
We are fortunate to have received this thoughtful gift and are most grateful to the Lucktenberg family for their dedicated support of the GSA Foundation and the Governor's School.
